The main Information for Applicants

University Training is conducted in Russian. There is a preliminary faculty for foreign citizens, willing to study on the territory of the Russian Federation, which gives knowledge of basic subjects and the Russian language. On completing the course and passing the test the students get the certificate of a corresponding level.

The duration of studies:

• Prelimenary fuculty – 1 year
• Bachelor department – 4 years
• Specialist department – 5 years
• Master department – 2 years
• Post-graduated department – 3 years
• Doctoranture – 3 years

The payment for study in cash can be made in cash department of the University at a rate equal to ruble equivalent of the indicated sum at the rate of Central Bank RF on the day of payment, without the registration of the VAT, or by non-cash transfer in US dollars.
Tuition fee of study (US dollars for academic year):

The cost of Doctoranture, Doctoranture (for the graduates of USUPC )  will be discuss personally.
 

Letter of Invitation
To get the letter of invitation please send (by mail, fax or e-mail) to the department of international relations of USUPC the following documents:

• the personal questionnaire. (Please send the questionnaire in doc format)
• the photocopy of the first two pages of your passport. (Please send the passport copies in pdf, jpeg format)

On consideration of your documents you will be sent the letter of invitation. Please find out the details of getting the visa in the Russian Embassy in your country. It takes about 2 months to get the letter of invitation, that is why you are recommended to send all the documents not later than 3 months before the beginning of the term.
 

Concluding the agreement

The documents indispensable for admission of foreign citizens to University:

1. Application addressed to Rector of USUPC

2. Education certificate:

• To enter preliminary faculty - a copy of complete secondary education certificate notarised and translated into Russian with the indication of the learnt subjects, the total number of hours for each subject and estimations, as well as a copy of equivalence of education certificates of foreign states to the certificate of education of the Russian Federation given by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

• To enter bachelor department - a copy of complete secondary education certificate notarised and translated into Russian with the indication of the learnt subjects, the total number of hours for each subject and estimations, as well as a copy of equivalence of education certificates of foreign states to the certificate of education of the Russian Federation given by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

• To obtain specialist degree – a copy of bachelor certificate notarised and translated into Russian with the indication of the learnt subjects, the total number of hours for each subject and estimations, as well as a copy of equivalence of education certificates of foreign states to the certificate of higher professional education of the Russian Federation given by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

• To enter master department - a copy of bachelor diploma notarised and translated into Russian with the indication of the learnt subjects, the total number of hours for each subject and estimations, as well as a copy of equivalence of education certificates of foreign states to the certificate of higher professional education of the Russian Federation given by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

• To enter post-graduate department - a copy of a higher professional education diploma notarised and translated into Russian with the indication of the learnt subjects, the total number of hours for each subject and estimations, as well as a copy of equivalence of education certificates of foreign states to the certificate of higher professional education of the Russian Federation given by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
  Identity card, higher professional education diploma (certificate) and a copy of its equivalence the applicants to the post-graduate department are to present personally.

• To enter doctoranture – a copy of Ph.D. degree diploma; detailed plan of doctor thesis; the list of scientific publications, creations.

3. Evidence of the equivalent of the documentation about the education which was get abroad.

4. Certification (reference) showing the results of your test in the Russian language. If you took a course of Russian at UralSUPC Centre of International Studies or in one of the universities of Russian Federation with the national accreditation, the certificate showing the results of your test in the Russian language. 

5. Medical certificate, confirmed that you haven’t got contra-indications for study in RF and on the faculty you are applying to.

6. The AIDS test result, confirmed that you haven’t got AIDS, valid on the territory of Russian Federation.

7. Passport with visa and migration card.

8. Six photos size 3х4 cm.

The translation of the academic documents into Russian must be certified by the Russian Embassy or Consulate in the country where they were issued or notarized in Russia. The AIDS and other medical tests for the medical certificate must be taken in one of the clinics of Russia (When you will arrive).

Your expenses can be estimated as follows:

* the Price in dollars will be at a dollar exchange rate established by the Moscow Interbank Stock Exchange at date of payment.

6-8: The nessesary procedures with the international academic documents to enter to the Russian University (you bring us the academic documents with the Apostile press from Embassy, then we make a translation of your documents into russian languge, after it we notarized the original and translation and send all documents to an Expert Center in Moscow to make a nostrofication procedure – it's the final procedure to make your academic documents availible to enter in Russian University) – Our expert in work with the foreign students can help you to make all of this procedures.

International students do not get a scholarship. Borrowing books from the library of the University is free of charge.
We remind you that our University is located in Cheliabinsk, South Ural and the temperature in winter sometimes can be about -30 under degree. So you should take the worm clothes with you. Or take an extra money and we'll help you to buy it here in local shop. Basic complect (furcoat, trouthers,boots,hat,gloves) cost about 500 $.
